How we vetted this list
Every agency here manages Google Ads for paying clients. Each one either has its main office in London or runs a London office that serves London clients. We checked each against its own website, award and partner announcements, and independent review or directory profiles where they exist. Facts were last checked on 22 October 2026.
We looked for named clients, verifiable results, a clear service scope and credentials such as Google Partner or Premier Partner status. Self reported results are labelled as self reported.
We held MagnifyLab to the same checks as every other Google Ads company on the list and state its location, pricing and results in the same way.
This is a curated shortlist, not a league table. Each profile says what type of business the Google Ads agency suits best, because the right choice depends on your budget and goals.

How to choose the right Google Ads agency in London
Choose on evidence of lead quality and profit, not on clicks or badges. Before you sign, ask each agency to:
- Show case studies from businesses in your sector with performance data.
- Explain how it measures qualified leads, sales and profit, and whether it can import offline conversions from your CRM.
- Confirm in writing that you own the Google Ads account, conversion data and landing pages.
- Set out its management fee, minimum term and cancellation terms.
- Name the person who will run your account and how many accounts they manage.
- Explain how it protects your cost per lead in London auctions, where competition for commercial terms is high.
- Provide a 90 day plan with measurable targets.
Then check the agency’s status in Google’s official Google Partners directory. Partner status is useful evidence of platform credentials. It does not guarantee results.
How much do Google Ads agencies cost in London?
Most Google Ads agencies in London charge a monthly management fee on top of your ad spend. Fees run from about £500 to £1,500 a month for small businesses and £5,000 or more at enterprise level. Only a few agencies publish prices. On this list, MagnifyLab publishes retainers from £750 a month plus ad spend, Rapid SEO London advertises management from £200 a month plus VAT, and Passion Digital says it bills on time spent, not a percentage of media spend.
Here are the common billing options:
| Fee model | Typical UK range | How it works |
| Percentage of ad spend | 10% to 30% for SME budgets, lower at enterprise scale | Your fee grows as your budget grows |
| Flat monthly retainer | £500 to £1,500 for small businesses, £1,500 to £5,000 for mid market, £5,000 to £10,000+ for enterprise | Fixed fee, whatever you spend |
| Time based | Charged on hours worked | Passion Digital bills this way |
| Hybrid | Base retainer plus a smaller percentage or performance bonus | Mixes cost certainty with incentives |
| Set up fee | £250 to £1,000, one off | Audit, campaign build and tracking |
These ranges are indicative and drawn from published UK agency pricing guides. Your media budget is paid to Google separately.
Google Premier Partner or Google Partner: does it matter?
Premier Partner status is useful evidence of skill and scale, but it does not guarantee results. Google awards it to roughly the top 3% of Google Partners in each country, based on variables including performance, spend management and certified staff.
Premier status partly reflects the volume of spend an agency manages. Smaller specialists can deliver excellent work without it, and a large agency with the badge may not be the right fit for you.
On this list, Brainlabs, Croud, Passion Digital, Found, Eskimoz and Loud Mouth Media state Premier Partner status. MagnifyLab is a Google Partner, and Semetrical describes itself as a Google Search Advertising Partner. Check any claim in Google’s Partners directory before you sign.
Red flags when hiring a Google Ads agency
Any one of these deserves a hard question. Two or more should end the conversation.
- Guaranteed results, rankings or returns before the agency understands your business.
- No access to your ad account, or an account created under the agency’s own credentials.
- Reports built on clicks and impressions instead of leads, cost per lead and revenue.
- The same strategy for every client, whatever the sector.
- A 12 month minimum term with heavy exit penalties.
- Senior people at the pitch and junior staff on your account.
- Vague answers when you ask about methodology or reporting.
- No named clients or checkable results anywhere on its own website.
Google Ads agency London FAQs
How much does a Google Ads agency cost in London?
Most London Google Ads agencies charge £500 to £1,500 a month for small businesses and £1,500 to £5,000 for mid market accounts, plus your ad spend. Some charge 10% to 30% of spend instead. Enterprise retainers usually start around £5,000. Ask for management fees and ad spend to be invoiced separately.
What is the best Google Ads agency in London for small businesses?
The best Google Ads agency for a small business is one that gives you senior attention and reports on leads and revenue. In this guide, MagnifyLab, Rapid SEO London and Loud Mouth Media all work with SMEs and small businesses. Check that the agency has results in your sector before you sign.
Do I need a Google Ads agency based in London?
No. Google Ads is managed online, so location matters less than sector experience and who runs your account. A London agency helps if you want in person workshops and local market knowledge. Ask any agency how often it will meet you and whether the people you meet will manage your account.
How long does Google Ads take to work?
Google Ads can send traffic within days of launch, but profitable results usually take about three months. The first month covers tracking, account structure and baseline data. Months two and three are for testing ads, adding negative keywords and adjusting bids. Gains build as conversion data accumulates.
Should I hire a Google Ads agency or manage campaigns in house?
An agency usually makes sense when you lack platform expertise, run several channels or cannot justify a full time hire. In house works best when Google Ads is your main channel and you can recruit and keep specialist talent. Many businesses start with an agency and bring work in house later.
Who should own my Google Ads account?
You should. The account should sit under your business name and billing, with the agency given access. That keeps your campaign history, conversion data and Quality Scores if you switch agencies. Avoid any agency that creates accounts under its own credentials.
Choosing the right Google Ads agency in London
The clearest divide in this list is fit, not quality. Enterprise agencies such as Brainlabs and Croud suit large, multi market budgets. Specialists suit specific needs, from multilingual, multi market campaigns at Eskimoz to hospitality and travel at Found. For SMEs focused on leads, look for senior led teams that work on your account and have proven expertise in your sector.
Shortlist two or three agencies, ask each for a 90 day plan and compare their offer. Ask how each one handles AI search visibility alongside Google Ads, because buyers now research on both. If you would like a second opinion on your current campaigns, MagnifyLab offers a free PPC audit.
